The 18th National Residual Stress Conference & International Residual Stress Conferience, along with the 1st Cross-Strait Residual Stress Technology Forum hosted by Southwest Jiaotong University, took place in Dujiangyan, Chengdu, from October 30 to November 3, 2015.
The event was co-organized by the Materials and Failure Analysis branches of the China Mechanical Engineering Society and the X-ray Diffraction Committee of the Chinese Physical Society. It drew 323 representatives from 195 domestic and international institutions.
