The 19th National Conference on Residual Stress and International Residual Stress Symposium was co-organized by the Residual Stress Professional Committee of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, the Technical Committee of the Failure Analysis Institution of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and the X-ray Diffraction Professional Committee of the Chinese Physical Society. Hosted by Wenzhou University, it was held in Hangzhou from October 16 to 20, 2017. A total of 338 representatives from 204 domestic and foreign organizations attended the conference.
